Congratulations to Clint Beswick and Dustin Drakesmith for making the Finals at the 7th Annual King of the Groms World Skateboard Championship !!!

Us Florida guys headed up to the freezing 3rd Lair in Minn. for the 7th Annual King of the Groms 12 and under Skateboard Championships. Two team riders Clint Beswick and Dustin Drakesmith qualified for the finals. 36 of the best skaters in each division competed. Dustin qualified in the beginner at Progessive skate park in Ga. His division started with ten 3 man jams. He was tapped in his jam which enabled him to go to the finals on Sunday. Clint Beswick competed in the Expert Division which the winner would be crowned the "King of the Grom" . Clint skated against the 28 of the best 12 and under skaters around the country. He qualified 5th on Saturday. The top ten advanced to Sunday to skate. They had 2 one minute runs Sat. and in the finals they had three one minute runs. At the end of the day on Sunday. Dustin came in 11th Beginners and Clint came in 6th place in the expert division. We would like to thank Dan from Graffiti, the 3rd Lair Skatepark and Progressive Skate Park. We are heading back to the warm sunshine and look forward to next year there.
